Update: Ask a Ninja Game Previewed

We talked about this last week, and can finally follow up with some updates. We’re talking “I Am Ninja”, the new game based on the popular website Ask a Ninja.
Up until today, the game itself was somewhat of a mystery to anyone not fortunate enough to be in the beta testing. Fortunately Gizmodo now has some video footage of what exactly this game can do.
Here are some of the different things you can do:
- Main game — a lot like Galaga, only for ninjas. (Ninjaga?) Throw blow darts at approaching attackers
- Mini games — help you earn money to unlock cooler weapons
- Video library — lets you watch most of the Ask A Ninja episodes
- Unlockable goodies — the interesting thing here is the video mentions that it’s a mystery as to how to unlock certain things.
- Submit a question to the Ninja
As a Ask a Ninja fan, this is sounding great! Not only can you play these games but you also have access to nearly the entire Ask a Ninja library. Not too shabby. Check out the full video below:

The game also offers insightful commentary from The Ninja himself, and I must say– it’s in the same comical style as the episodes themselves.
No word on release date yet.
