So you’re a movie geek (ahem: movie buff) and are always in constant need of trivia nourishment. MovieMistakes is here to help with an upcoming iPhone app.

I imagine the app will quite similar to its home site, which has a boatload of information and trivia on virtually every movie you can think of and where the cast and crew messed up.

It keeps track of everything; for instance,  there’s a scene in Star Trek where the captain’s Starfleet insignia is gone, but then reappears in the next shot. These are the kinds of random trivia we love to find as movie-lovers. And soon we’ll be able to easily access these bits and pieces in a convenient app.

We found out after seeing a tweet from @moviemistakes that says: “Musing on MM iphone app features. Anything people would especially like to be able to do with the upcoming app?” So please feel free to follow them and even reply to the tweet with any ideas of your own. Apparently the app is still in early stages if they are asking for ideas, but hopefully it will translate into beta testing sometime soon.
