GTD Teux Deux is Fun to Spell, Even Better With iPhone App

Take a quick look at teuxdeux’s website and you’ll find that the guys behind this particular web-based GTD service don’t really take themselves too seriously. While that has nothing to do with how effective the service really is, it’s an interesting fact nonetheless. Another interesting fact is that this currently free service will be available soon as an iPhone app.
Teuxdeux is, in essence, a basic To Do list with a minimalistic approach. No need to clutter up your GTD with pointless junk that doesn’t matter, right? And it’s free. You can’t go wrong with free, because you can try it out and see how it feels and how well you like it without the pressure of knowing it’s on a trial or that you paid a whole bunch of dough for it.
Here’s the basic rundown of their service, as outlined by their website:
TeuxDeux is a simple, designy, browser-based to-do app and the first collaboration between studio-mates swissmiss and Fictive Kin .
The idea was to build a bare-bones, but visually compelling and highly usable to-do app based on Tina’s personal ideal work-flow.
Features include:
- - week overview
- - check off done tasks
- - delete tasks
- - move tasks
- - someday bucket
So given the fact that it’s coming to the iPhone, I would expect seamless integration with your web account, not to mention a very easy-to-use UI. I doubt there will be much more to it, though I’m also expecting a few random easter eggs or some joke or pun inside. I guess we’ll see. Here’s the video about the web-based service; disclaimer — this is NOT the iPhone app, just merely what the service itself is capable of.

I made a todo list app for the iPhone that follows a similar philosophy. I’d be happy to send out a couple promo codes if anyone wants to try it and give me some feedback. Look forward to a big update within the next week or two also. http://bit.ly/youdoapp
