Dave Calabrese had a crazy idea. So crazy, it might just work.

An experienced game developer, Dave (BahamutZaero, as he’s known by some) was quickly running out of money and desperately needed to come up with something to get him going again; that’s when he decided to challenge himself to create one iPhone app a day for 30 days. 30 apps in 30 days seems a bit overkill — after all, most quality games have beta tests that last longer than one month. But Dave owned up to the idea and so far is still doing quite well.

Inspired to keep us up to speed on how he’s doing, Dave set up a blog to chronicle his quest, with great detailed daily information on each individual app he submits to the App Store (each app has to be submitted by 11:59 PM each night) and a list of the 8 rules he’s bound by (one I enjoy in particular is that he’s only allowed to do one fart app. How is he going to make it through the month?!?!?).

None of his apps have been approved by the App Store yet, but it’s still pretty early for that to happen. So far he’s completed 5 days out of 30. I’m sure he can make it, but he may need our support. Check out his website and cheer him on!
