A new app called Zoo Sounds, developed by Tantrum Apps, is ready to begin beta testing. This aims to be a great educational tool for any children between the ages of 1 and 3. Essentially it acts like many kids toys out there — the premise is, touch the animal and it makes that animal’s sound.

So far the beta has 4 animals loaded, with more on the way. Here is a video showing how it will work:

To sign up for the beta test, go here and fill out the information sheet. You’ll need your UDID, and your child needs to be between 1-3 years old. We are told once you register you will receive an email on Monday with instructions.

Tantrum would like the app to come out by the end of April if everything goes well during beta testing.
