Despair, Inc. takes those inspirational posters that you probably put up in your bedroom as a kid (for example, pictures of birds or clouds with inspirational cliche phrases), and mocks them with “Demotivators”, as they like to call them. Check out the picture below for an example. Most of their posters are laugh-out-loud funny.

This app is in the unofficially announced category, as Despair has made it known via its Wailing List on Twitter that they are in the final testing stages of their iPhone app. There is no word on anticipated release time (just “coming sooner than you might believe”) or what kind of content we can expect from this app, but needless to say I am quite excited to see what they come out with.

I’m expecting to have the Demotivator posters available for viewing on the app, and probably some sort of link to purchase them. But what else? I’m on pins and needles here. Make some guesses, and I’ll keep checking up on updates for you.
