This just barely came down the pipeline, folks — looks like the game you’ve all been waiting for, FIFA 10 by EA Mobile, has just become available for sale in the App Store for $9.99. Go ahead and download it now!

You know that the much-awaited FIFA10 is coming soon when EA Mobile puts on a press event about it and officially announces it to the world.

And if that weren’t enough news to get you drooling, EA also put out a video, screenshots, and additional details on the game itself. So let’s get started.

FIFA 10 has both accelerometer and joystick control options. You also have A/B buttons on the bottom right to take advantage of (A for passing and B for receiving), and even swiping your finger from one to the other will give extra gameplay options (for instance, swiping from A to B will result in a long pass).

There will also be local WiFi gameplay at release, with local Bluetooth online play coming in a future release.

EA is planning on a release on or near October 1.

Backbreaker Football: Tackle Alley on the iPhone is an intense, arcade football experience. Using accelerometer controls and on-screen buttons, the player must sprint, dodge and spin past waves of oncoming defenders, racking up point combos and score multipliers on their way to the endzone. Through Facebook integration, players will be able to see how their high-scores stack up against their friends’.

After the break, here’s a good 8-minute video showing off a good chunk of what the game’s all about.

Considering the amount of hype going into this game so far, there’s no doubt that millions are drooling over screenshots and details of Madden 2010 for iPhone/iPod Touch released today.

We know that the game will be available on the App Store in time for opening day, which happens to be Sept. 10. This means that it will be ready for us to play and enjoy in less than two weeks.

As you can tell in these shots, Madden 2010 and NFL 2010 are very alike; after all, there’s only so much innovation you can add to these types of games that are on a small screen but meant for a larger game console. But from what we can tell the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is as close to real as you can get on this type of device.

On one hand I’m excited to see how this all plays out; on the other hand, however, we’re more used to seeing a game like this on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. Can it be as exciting and as intense on the iPhone as it is on those versions? How well can the graphics really be done? Guess we’ll find out in 2 weeks or so.

It will be intriguing to see how these will work on the iPhone and if the game experience is as good as on larger consoles such as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Usually in comparison it isn’t as good on the iPhone, but perhaps EA has found a way to integrate the faster processing power of the iPhone 3GS to allow for a better game. We are certainly looking forward to learning more about how this will all happen.

Will we be able to coordinate our iPhone EA accounts with the ones on the larger consoles? That would certainly help make the game more universal across all gaming platforms.
