We don’t know all the details, but word has been slowly spreading around some of the big-name blogs that EA Sports is working on iPhone versions of Madden 10 and FIFA 10.

It will be intriguing to see how these will work on the iPhone and if the game experience is as good as on larger consoles such as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Usually in comparison it isn’t as good on the iPhone, but perhaps EA has found a way to integrate the faster processing power of the iPhone 3GS to allow for a better game. We are certainly looking forward to learning more about how this will all happen.

Will we be able to coordinate our iPhone EA accounts with the ones on the larger consoles? That would certainly help make the game more universal across all gaming platforms.

Coming tomorrow, a fresh new service called Plus+ will arrive on the App Store to be one of the first major services to really take advantage of what iPhone OS 3.0 has to offer. It’s being hailed as a sort of Xbox Live for the iPhone.

But what does that mean exactly? It’s a social gaming service. Essentially Plus+ is a platform that enables players to set up their own profiles, add friends, records, game histories, and challenges across multiple games. It’s been developed by Ngmoco, the same guys behind StarDefense and Rolando.

In fact, Star Defense will be one of the first games to be featured, though the platform will be open to other developers and publishers to take advantage of. And soon enough Plus+ will tap into Facebook and Twitter (because let’s face it — who doesn’t tap into those anymore?)

The service itself will be completely free, so we are looking forward to using Plus+ soon to see how it will work out.
